Description
Celebrate Black History Month with free art-making activities and performances that will honor the legacy of the African American community.
There will be live West African drumming by the Ibeji Ensemble, face painting from Beanie Paints, live-written poetry by Haley Clancey, food options from Black-owned food vendors, community partner tabling and a Black History Month talk by former associate teaching professor Anthony B. Mitchell of Penn State Greater Allegheny.
When: Saturday, Feb. 8, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
