Description
Join the fun at the annual SnowFest at Boyce Park! Compete in the Mini-Junior Olympics for skiing and snowboarding, or put your engineering skills to the test in the Cardboard Box Snow Tubing Derby. Prizes will be given to the top three participants in each category, and the whole family can enjoy live music and free hot cocoa at the Lodge.
Registration fee for Mini-Junior Olympics and the Cardboard Box Snow Tubing Derby is $10.00 per event for each participant. Lift tickets must be purchased separately. All proceeds benefit the Boyce Park Ski Patrol.
Mini-Junior Olympics
Youth ages 5-12 can compete in ski and snowboard races down the Boyce Park Slopes. Medals will be awarded to the top three boys and girls in each age category for both the skiing and snowboarding competitions.
Cardboard Box Snow Tubing Derby
Save boxes from your holiday gifts! Participants will pre-construct a sled made of cardboard and duct tape and race down the snow tubing hill. The Boyce Park Ski Patrol must approve all sleds for use. All participants must be must be at least 50” tall and sign a waiver. A parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver for participants ages 17 & under. Prizes will be given to the top three finishers in each age category.
