Description
Join us for activities starting at 5 PM. Music performance starts at 6:30 PM.
Enjoy an evening of dynamic elements and instrumental classics from the Middle East, those songs that appeared on classic vinyl records with flying carpets and fezzes on the covers. Ishtar Vintage Bellydance Band brings you songs that are ethnically authentic with a sound that is an organic fusion of jazz with traditional melodies of Turkey, Greece, Egypt, and the Balkans. A donation of $5 per adult is suggested.
Melissa Murphey, clarinet
Jeff Chmielarski, electric bass
Owen Dougan-Bascha, darbuka
Mike Vaccaro, riq
