McCandless Township Community Day

Description

The Town of McCandless Community Day will be taking place Saturday, September 9.

The main festivities kick off at 4 p.m. with the musical and dance acts, food, rides and games begin. The Frank Farina Memorial Car Cruise will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. at North Allegheny Intermediate School and is collecting community donations of new and gently used instruments.

The night finishes with fireworks.

Stage Schedule

• 4:00 - Opening with NA Band (which will be followed by swearing in of our new K9)
• 4:15 - Performance by Michele's Dance Center
• 5:30 - BB Steal Live Music
• 7:45 - Allegheny Brass Band
• 8:15 - Fireworks

Activity Schedule

• 2-6 pm: Frank J. Farina Car Cruise at NAI
• 4-7 pm: Balloon animals and caricature artist
• 4-8 pm: rides, inflatables, kids' activities, axe throwing
• 4-8 pm: Kids craft at the Heritage and Cultural Center
• 4 pm-Fireworks: Food, booths, raffle, prizes
