Saturday May 27th, we will be having ‘The’ Concert of the year, showcasing some of Pittsburgh’s finest musicians and bands at the most beautiful music venue in the entire Pittsburgh area.

Presenting the ‘This is Pittsburgh Rock’ Concert featuring:

Bill Deasy – Front man for The Gathering Field and one of the most well respected and admired Singer / Songwriters anywhere. Bill has written songs that have been played and heard all over the world on albums by Martina McBride, Kim Richey, The Clarks, Billy Ray Cyrus and Michael Stanley. Bill was included in the book “Pittsburgh Born, Pittsburgh Bred” as one of 500 of the most memorable Pittsburghers from the past 250 years. https://www.facebook.com/BillDeasy/

Bill Toms and Hard Rain featuring The Soulville Horns – If there was ever a ‘sound’ of the ‘Burgh’ these guys are it. Bill is a force to be reckoned with and aside from being an incredible front man and songwriter, his band Hard Rain is comprised of some of the best talent around. Add to that the amazing Soulville Horns and you have one of the absolute best bands to ever emerge from the Pittsburgh area. Bill began his musical career playing in 1987 with Joe Grushecky and The House Rockers and has opened for national acts like The Band, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Ray Vaughn. https://www.billtoms.com

Jim Donovan and The Sun King Warriors –Jim Donovan and The Sun King Warriors are best described as a blend of rhythm heavy roots rock, with a strong dose of big barreling drums. Jim Donovan, the band’s founder and writer brings almost three decades of experience to the Sun King Warriors. As a member of the popular 90’s band Rusted Root, he helped shaped the group’s sound and toured with legendary bands including The Grateful Dead, members of Led Zeppelin, Carlos Santana and the Allman Brothers. He also co-authored the band’s biggest hit, “Send Me on My Way,” which has been streamed over 100 million times on Spotify and used as the wakeup music for NASA’s Mars rover. https://sunkingwarriors.com/

Allegheny Rivertrail Park – The New Allegheny Rivertrail Park overlooks the Allegheny River for an incredible view and backdrop. This event will be the kickoff for their Rock the River Summer Concert Series. The Allegheny Rivertrail Park, formerly known as the Aspinwall Riverfront Park is working to enhance the quality of life for the community by providing access to parkland and multi-use trails along the Allegheny River. https://alleghenyrivertrailpark.org
