Protecting the environment is a top priority for the Township of Pine. It is committed to providing residents and visitors with opportunities to lead environmentally conscious, sustainable lifestyles while promoting awareness and education. The Township strives to connect, protect, and educate the community, while offering engaging programs for residents of all ages.

The Township of Pine will host its 2025 Earth Day Event from 11:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 26, at the Pine Community Center (100 Pine Park Drive, Wexford, PA). The event is free and open to the public, welcoming residents and visitors of all ages and abilities.

Pine's second annual Earth Day Event will feature fun and educational workshops, hands-on activities, and meaningful opportunities to learn more about sustainability and environmental wellness. There will be something for everyone!

All-day entertainment includes a local vendor market, food trucks, a "refill your own" candle booth by Chez Lapin, activity and information booths, giveaways, and exciting recycling opportunities. Highlights also include two live animal shows, a recycled art exhibit from Pine-Richland School District, and more. The Earth Day Event festivities will take place outside of the Pine Community Center at 100 Pine Park Drive, Wexford, PA 15090. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside the Community Center.
