It’s the showdown of the summer! Dive into the summer reading extravaganza and enjoy dodging plot twists, and sprinting through thrilling chapters. Join Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh (CLP) for READ-A-PALOOZA BOOK BOWL 2024, a summer of literary fun! This reading program aims to keep minds sharp over summer vacation by inviting readers of all ages to read at least five books between June 16 and August 11 with The Summer Reading Extravaganza Closing Ceremony happening August 11th at CLP Main in Oakland!

Readers interested in participating can register individually or as a team, all of which will compete to collectively read and log the most books. Monthly drawings will be held where readers have a chance to win a variety of prizes, including Visa gift cards, tickets to Pirates games and a special Steelers Training Camp package. Plus, all readers who meet the five-book minimum will be automatically entered to win the grand prize basket drawings at the end of summer!
