Here are a few upcoming great events going on at some of our favorite "free to the people" local libraries! Let's take a look!
Northern Tier Regional Library
Did you know that some libraries like the Northern Tier Regional Library have "experience kits" available for you to take the entire family to one of the available museums listed!
Also at the Northern Tier Regional Library, you can donate your eclipse glasses. They will go to Astronomers Without Borders Recycling Program, donate and learn more here!
Cranberry Public Library
Visit the Cranberry Public Library and you'll discover many great events including their amazing Forge Makerspace where visitors can sign up for classes or try a free Cricut Demo! There's also a great event you don't want to miss on Tues., April 16 at 6:30 pm when a local favorite author shares about Pittsburgh Sports History. The event includes a book signing with Frank Garland!
Frank is the co-author of Pittsburgh Sports in the 1970s and Behind the Mic: Pittsburgh's Greatest Sports Broadcast Journalists. Books will be available for purchase at the event. Sign up HERE!

Shaler North Hills Library
The friends of Shaler North Hills Library will host their Spring Book Sale at Shaler North Hills Library the weekend of April 19-21, featuring teen and adult items! As always, they accept books, DVDs, music CDs, puzzles, and games in good condition any time.
Sharpsburg and Cooper-Siegel Libraries
At the Sharpsburg Community Library there's always something fun going on including Art Workshop Wednesday. On April 17th K thru 6th graders will learn how to create a landscape collage! At Cooper-Siegel Library Teens get their own After-Hours Evening from 6:30 to 8:30. During this time they can have pizza play games and more!
Zelienople Area Public Library
There's also events just for the moms including Zelienople Area Public Library's class with community partner, Curio Art Studio, called Books and Brushes on April 19th! They also have numerous events for kids such as Storytimes, Lego Club, and Wacky Wednesdays!
Libby App
Finally, one service that my family and I love and hope that you and your family will benefit from is the Libby App where you can find all kinds of e-books and magazines to download and borrow for free just the same as actual library books! Just sign in with your library card!
