Be sure to save the date and join Macaroni Kid Pittsburgh North at this year's Town of Pine Earth Day Event happening on Saturday, April 27th from 11 AM to 6 PM at the Pine Community Center. Everyone is welcome to join this Earth Day Event! You don't need to be a resident to enjoy the festivities! This event will happen rain or shine and will be inside or outside of the PCC depending on the weather.

- Temporary Parking/Unloading for Recycling Drop-Off: Click here to view the temporary parking and route for unloading items to be recycled.
- Bathrooms: You can utilize the bathrooms on the upper level of the PCC, in the locker rooms on the lower level of the PCC, and at the Splash Pad.
- *There's now an ATM in the Pine Community Center entrance!

- Signing up is free, but candle refill pricing is $1.85/oz. Candles must be paid for at the event.
- You'll be notified via email when your candles are ready to be picked up at the Pine Community Center!
Recycling Opportunities - Start Saving Now!
Michael Brothers Hauling & Recycling will be recycling the following:
- Scrap metal*
- Aluminum cans
- Christmas/holiday lights
- Glass
- Cardboard
*Accepted scrap metal includes: ovens, grills, pots, pans, silverware, baking sheets, cans, wires, bikes, aluminum bats, ladders, metal sports gear, chairs, doorknobs, old keys, etc.
*All money associated with scrap metal recycling will be used to purchase Scrap University Kids books for Pine-Richland School District elementary schools!
The Pine-Richland School District 6-School Sustainability Leadership Club will be collecting gently used, clean items for their Planet Aid bins including:
- Bedding, towels, sleeping bags, and curtains
- Clothing
- Shoes
The Township of Pine will be collecting e-Waste (electronics) to recycle in the usual bins in the Pine Community Center lobby!
