The closest I ever got to summer camp was watching "Space Camp" in the movie theater. That was close enough for me to tell you the truth. I still have flashbacks of potentially being launched into space without the aide of adults. Frightening.
Summer camp just wasn't something readily offered to the mainstream public when I was younger. Abe Lincoln days I guess! Only my rich friends with preppy haircuts got to go. I had a bad perm. I don't think they let bad perm kids at summer camp.

Today there are so many offerings it's mind numbing! The pressure to perform, get your kids in the best camps, find an offering to fit your budget-- is insane. Luckily I worked my hands to the bone collecting all that I could find to showcase the options you have at your disposal. You can thank me later. I'll sit and regrow my skin back while I wait.

At this time in the Perry household we've been staving off illnesses. Tis the season I guess. Or maybe it was the ENT trip to Children's. I KNEW I should have doused her in hand sanny.
