IX-Indoor Amusement Park in Cleveland, OH

Our review for you!

By Kim Inkenhaus of Macaroni Kid Pittsburgh LLC April 4, 2012

An indoor amusement park? I have never heard of such! I went in thinking this MIGHT be fun for this year since my son is only 5 but most certainly not by next year. Plus it's in Cleveland so this drive isn't bad but this would be a one time thing I thought for our family...OR SO I THOUGHT!!!!

I went to the I-X Indoor Amusement Park today and I was totally impressed! ANNND until about 4pm there were NO LINES! AT ALL!

It's HUGE!!!! 20 acres and a ferris wheel that comes OUT OF THE ROOF? Seriously crazy cool!

And there were a ton of rides that my kid could ride and a ton more that we will be trying out next year and the year after that! This will be a yearly thing for us for sure! Don't the faces say it all???

I LOVED the entire Tot Spot section. You don't have to constantly tell your kids no because they can ride just about anything in there. It's a room off to the side just for them but older siblings can ride some of them as well.

And no small time rides only here! Look at this one! Too high for momma! That's why I'm taking the picture!

We watched both shows that were included with the price of admission. It was a nice break to rest our legs for a little while and be completely entertained as well.

Cirque Shanghai, had us on the edge of our seats. How they can master their bodies to such a degree is just amazing. Something I didn't expect at the end was a giant cage/ball/thingy (not it's technical term) that had FOUR motorcycles in there at a time. It was amazing. I can't even tell you more because I would ruin it! But prepare to be impressed!

Take a look at the lady riding a bicycle ON TOP of that umbrella! How do they come up with this stuff?

There were some things that I didn't expect like pony rides and a petting zoo! Look at this baby donkey!

And the coolest thing was a REAL Transformer! A car that transformed (and scared the stuffing out of many an unsuspecting parent) right before your eyes! And then he would take a picture with you even!

Then there were the sweet moments that happen when you create a memory with your kid.

AWWWW!

This is worth the drive without a doubt! No weather to worry about, no sunscreen to apply...just a great time to be had by all!

But hurry!!!! They are only open until the 15th!!!

One word of warning....not all rides are included in admission. So next time I would have that conversation beforehand with my kid. Because if you get there early you MIGHT be able to have the time to ride everything but you might not want to spend the additional money.
